Kerry wins electoral college with undecideds in swing states

I saw this post by mattb25 on daily kos just now. It gave me quite a lift. Of course, mattb25's calculations could all be thrown into disorder by factors such as this one posted by kevin on lean left: Bush Argued to Deny Right to Sue If Voting Rights Denied.

Tomorrow I'm going canvassing in Montgomery County, PA.

I just got off the phone with my Republican, township supervisor older brother, who somewhat sarcastically referred to me as a "true believer." He said I needed to see the importance of "staying the course."

He didn't say why.

OBL Tape and Marine Fallujah Offensive Political

If you had a sneaky feeling someone else was back there -- with Osama bin Laden -- behind the World Trade Center attacks, maybe you're having a deja vu right now.

What happened to Bush's approval rating after 9/11 and "sending in the troops" in Iraq?

So why are they playing this refrain again?

Because the polls are so close going into the election, Bush has to have a BIG October surprise to justify the landslide he's going to get courtesy of the electronic voting machines!

They can rig 29% of all voting machines. Think they won't do it? Trust 'em?

If the tape and the attack didn't occur before the election, everybody would know that the election is rigged.

But thanks to Bush's "strong rating on fighting terror," these news developments can explain away the surprising red count on election day.

It's A Tough Campaign Season

POLICE: DRIVER TRIED TO RUN OVER FLORIDA REP. HARRIS

This is really characteristic of the flavor of the 2004 campaign season!

Leaving the USA

Everybody's heard friends joke about leaving the country if Bush wins. Why would anybody say that? Fear of being thrown in jail for wearing a Kerry/Edwards t-shirt? Fear of loss of other civil liberties? Fear of being sick and unable to afford health care. Fear of terrorists setting off a nuclear bomb near a major city. Disgust with corporate news media. Disgust with the education system. Disgust with the transportation system.

How's that for starters?

What other option is there, dropping out?

action figure

I am not going to vote for Dubya, but I may wind up getting some of the action figures.

If you think Iraqi civilians are getting the shaft, Palestinian poor are being squashed into the shape of doormats for Israeli tanks, you'll see a potentially more disspiriting devlopment when the next front opens.

It has to happen. Bush has to erase his "dumbya" Iranian/North Korean nuclear weapon proliferation problem.

Iran has oil.

They're the perfect target for "freedom fighters."

Iran supports "terrorism."

The only problem is, "What is X?" when

0 money + 0 troops + X = conquer Iran

ANSWER: Israel attacks Iran with their air force.

Call it "The Halloween Offensive."

anxiety

Don't know why, but the anixiety is building. Bush is such a loser. What if Kerry comes in with the Senate and an even House?

It seems like the Democratic groundswell is silently building.

That image of Kerry duckhunting seems a little farfetched if not strange. Aside from being an obvious publicity stunt, they said he actually hit a goose.

I wonder what they did with it.

Everybody here is for Kerry. I can't imagine what it must be like living in Bush country, but I know there are plenty of 'em out there.

Today was Loretta and my anniversary.

call to repentance for bush and cheney

The Methodist Church does have its disciplinary code, which must be observed by members. Whether or not this petition will serve to activate UMC discipline in reference to the President and Vice President is another story.

"Story" is the operative word.

what the hell ...

This guy Margolis sums it up nicely. He sounds like the clean-up hitter in the new international support Kerry on November 2nd team lineup.

It's amazing how the international "friendlies" are chiming in for our benefit on this election ... just in case anyone's interested.

How factual is this fact sheet?

Jadoo

As advertised, more influence peddling.

This is comparable to the Cheney special envoy kickback plan.

why single out bush?

For all his faults, Bush really wasn't any dumber than the democrats when it comes to believing Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.

The funniest part of it is the 9/11 commission recommendations. Are they really going to fix anything?

focus of attention

Ryan Lizza has the angle on the shift in strategy in the endgame.

Bush push

It seems as if President Bush is going to stick to his liberal, inconsistent, incredible accusations of Kerry, and let the new Iraqi ground offensive, the elections in Afghanistan, the tobacco-buyout corporate tax bill and "economic growth" do his talking for him.

He doesn't have anything new to say, he just wants to pose and posture himself as a winner. He's tried everything else and nothing has worked so far.

Apart from some October surprise scandal out of the closet, he's going to have to beat Kerry on the facts, because from the debates, to the commercials to the soundbites, America has heard it all before.
